Church Cleaning in Progress

A thorough cleaning of the church began on Saturday, October 22, 2016. A group of about twenty parishioners carefully cleaned the statues and altars in the church — reaching up as far as the marble cross at the top of the high altar. On Monday, the crew scrubbed and stained all of the pews in the church. Work continued on Tuesday, as the crew applied a new coat of wax to the freshly stained pews in preparation for a final buffing.
