Food Pantry

St. Joseph Church has provided a food pantry for well over 20 years to help people who are suffering from food insecurity as a result of illness, disabilities, or unemployment.

We are able to stock our shelves thanks to the generous donations we receive from our parishioners.

How Do I Sign Up?

If you need food assistance, please pick up an application from the Rectory Office (115 East Fort Lee Rd, Bogota, NJ) during normal business hours (scroll down to the bottom of this page). We are here to help our registered parishioners and neighbors in Bogota and Teaneck.

How Can I Help?

Donate Non-Perishable Food

  • Leave in back of the church or bring to the Rectory Office
  • Usual needs:
    • Canned fish or meat
    • Canned vegetables, fruit, beans
    • Peanut butter + jelly
    • Pasta + sauce
    • Cereal (hot or cold)
    • Pancake mix + syrup

Donate Perishable Food

  • Please call the Rectory Office to make an appointment with a pantry volunteer.

Other Donations

  • Send cash or grocery store gift cards to the Rectory Office
  • Donate cash using the “blue envelope”
  • Bring coupons for our usual needs to the Rectory Office
