Mass Attendance Limit Increase, 8am Mass coming in November, Welcome Fr. Eduardo

The Archdiocese of Newark has announced that the attendance limit for its 212 churches in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties has increased. Based on the latest New Jersey public official guidelines, the number of faithful now permitted indoors for public liturgies and Baptisms, weddings and funerals has increased to 150 people. All the previous guidelines remain in place to ensure the safety and well-being of the faithful.

I am also happy to announce that beginning November 8th, we will resume the 8am Sunday Mass. More information will follow in the upcoming weeks.

I am very happy to welcome our new parochial vicar, Fr. Eduardo Bustamante to St. Joseph’s as he begins this new chapter in his priestly ministry with us this week. Fr. Eduardo has been ordained 9 years and is coming to us from St. Nicholas parish in Jersey City. It is wonderful to have Fr. Eduardo here at St. Joseph’s and I am sure he will be very happy at our parish. Let us join together in welcoming Fr. Eduardo and let us pray that God will bless him as he begins his new assignment here with us at St. Joseph’s.
Let us continue to pray for one another and may God continue to guide and bless St. Joseph’s parish. May God bless you all.
