Lenten Reflection: 3/3/2021

We are reminded that we all need a Savior. We are all broken and weak and we need a kind Savior to heal us, strengthen us and be our refuge. Jesus comes to save us and redeem us. We know that life can be difficult, but we are not expected to get through it alone. We know Our Heavenly Father is here to help us.

There are many daily temptations that pull us away from God or make us doubt His goodness.
Throughout our lives, we experience times of uncertainty, confusion, and despair, but the Resurrected Christ gives us hope of our own eternal destiny with Him in Heaven. This gives us something to trust in that is greater than ourselves.

In trusting Christ, and relying on Him and Him alone, we learn humility. The key is communicating with God through prayer. When we pray during moments of desolation as well as consolation, our eyes will be opened to God’s true presence and we will see Him more and more in the little moments of our daily lives. He is truly with us through it all. Trusting in His goodness even when things are not going our way is a true testament of faith.
